Paddling is based in Barra and when we are not running tours we
run day trips all around the island. As an individual or group you
can join any of our day trips and explore this wonderful area. So
if you are visiting Barra why not join us for a day or two paddling?
The Southern Isles of the Outer Hebrides offer truly wonderful sea
kayaking with uninhabited islands, and undisturbed wildlife.
From Castlebay there are many different
options for a day out. Paddle over to
Vatersay or Sandray and discover
your very own beautiful white sandy
beach. Or head up the east coast
to explore the hundreds of islands
and wonderful sheltered bays.
Paddle amongst colonies of seals,
drift up close to an otter eating
its catch, see eagles soaring overhead, and paddle past birds of
all description. We may see porpoise, dolphins and basking
sharks. We run day trips throughout spring, summer
and autumn depending on the weather
and out trips.
Tailor made tours:
If you prefer we can tailor make trips to suit
you. If you have a group of friends, colleagues or family group
then
we can make a tour just for you. We can make it as long or short
as you like, camping or accommodation. Simply contact us with
