Sea kayak the Hebridean Way
Wild Camping Trips
Have you ever wanted to do a longer point to point expedition? Would you like to learn new skills, bush-craft, wild food, expedition skills and with the opportunity to develop your guiding skills? If yes then this is the journey for you.
The Hebridean Way, a sea kayaking journey from Castlebay on Barra, to Stornoway on Lewis is the absolute classic journey. Along the way we will be exploring some of the very best sea kayaking locations in Europe. The wonderful Sound of Barra, hundreds of islands that make up the east coast of Uist, stunning Sound of Harris and the wild coastline of Harris and Lewis. The whole coast is a magic mix of open water, a myriad islands, stunning beaches, cliffs, caves and amazing wild campsites.
Spread over two weeks you can choose to do this in one continuous journey, or split it over two years or pick to do the southern or northern half. This really is a unique opportunity to sea kayak through some truly wonderful locations, added with the opportunity of learning new skills.
Clearwater Paddling has been running guided sea kayak trips for over twenty years, longer than anyone else in Scotland. Over this time we have built up a massive knowledge base that encompasses unrivalled local knowledge of the Outer Hebrides, and a vast experience of expeditioning and leading trips to wild places. This is our home and our kayak stomping ground so come and join the us for a truely fantastic experience
