The Barra multi mix

Kayaking, surfing, snorkel with seals, walking, biking and coasteeering. This is the trip for those who want everything.

Pick and choose as you go. This totally flexible trip will offer the activites you want when you want them. Good kayaking weather, then it will be time to explore our beautiful islands by kayaks, or if the surfs up then whey not learn the art of surfing. Experience the adrenaline rush of coasteering on the wild west coast,  and take the amazing opportunity of snorkelling with seals in crystal clear waters.

Lying on the very fringe of Europe the Outer Hebrides are amongst the most beautiful islands in the world. This string of islands offers fantastic scenery and wildlife, and make for a truly beautiful adventure destination. We will be based on the Isle of Barra, the most southerly inhabited island from where we will explore surrounding islands to discover bays, quiet lagoons and stunning white beaches.

On our trips we use twin and double bedrooms. We do expect guests travelling on their own to share twin rooms (same sex). We would need notice if this is unsuitable, and we will do our best to source a single room (single room supplement would be payable).

Although the trip finishes after lunch on Friday we do offer a further nights accommodation if you require it. There are flights on both Friday afternoon and Saturday, whilst the ferry departs for Oban early Saturday morning.

May and June dates (£825 catered price). The trip price includes all meals from Saturday evening to Friday lunch. Guests self cater/eat out Friday evening (not included in trip price)

July and August dates (£745 semi-catered price). The trip price includes all breakfasts and lunches from Sunday morning to Friday lunch and supper on Saturday and Thursday evening. Guests self cater/eat out for all other suppers (not included in trip price).

Single Travellers Covid Regs update...In terms of accommodation the price is for 2 people sharing a twin room. We are still waiting to hear about the Covid regulations for the summer, however if rooms can only be used by single family bubbles we would need to add a single use room surcharge of £95 for the week. (This is a 50-50 split between ourselves and the single occupant for a 2 person room for the week)

Departure: There are flights on both Friday afternoon and Saturday, whilst the ferry departs for Oban early Saturday morning.

Available dates for this trip are shown below. Our trips are normally fully inclusive but some of our trips are available as self catering and/or kayaking-only basis. For our lodge-based trips the kayaking only option means you are responsible for all your meals and accommodation. For wild-camping trips you will be responsible for providing and cooking your own meals. Please contact us if you require more information.
